What Does Dedicated Hosting Represent?

When we talk about hosting servers, there are three principal sorts - hosting servers, VPS (private virtual servers) and dedicated servers. Shared web hosting servers host lots of customers and hence the system resources per account are limited, VPS offer more configuration autonomy, but also influence other virtual private web servers on the hardware node if used rashly, and dedicated servers offer you the freedom to perform everything you desire without intervening with anyone else.

Why would you need a dedicated servers?

Dedicated servers are usually much more expensive than shared web hosting servers or virtual private hosting servers. Why would anyone, then, want to use them? The explanation is quite simple. If your company has a high resource-requiring website, or just has very specific server setup requirements, the most logical choice would be a dedicated servers. For somebody who is willing to invest in security and dependability, the greater price is not a problem. You are given root privileges and can use 100% of the hosting server's resources without anyone else using these resources and messing with your websites.

Hardware architectures

The majority of website hosting service providers, incl. us at NTYT PERU S.A.C, offer different hardware configurations you can choose from on the basis of your needs. The hardware configurations offer different kinds of processors, a different amount of cores, different RAM and server hard drive sizes and different bandwidth quotas. You can choose a Control Panel, which is a convenient user interface if you wish to utilize the dedicated servers for hosting purposes solely and choose not to use a Secure Shell console for all the changes you will be making. We provide 3 kinds of web hosting CP software - Hepsia, DirectAdmin and cPanel.

The hosting Control Panel of your choice

If you are a self-assured Linux user (our dedicated hosting web servers are powered by Linux or other Unix-based OSs), you could manage your dedicated servers via an SSH console exclusively. That, though, could be awkward, even more so if you choose to give complete root-level access to someone else who has less technical experience than yourself. That is why having Control Panel software pre-activated is an excellent idea. The Hepsia web hosting CP graphical user interface that we offer does not offer complete root access and is mainly suitable for someone who has many sites that demand a lot of resources, but wishes to manage the web pages, databases and e-mail box accounts through an intuitive Control Panel. The DirectAdmin and cPanel web hosting Control Panels, on the other hand, grant full root privileges and offer 3 access levels - root, reseller and user. If you plan to resell web hosting plans rather than utilizing the dedicated servers only for yourself, you should select one of these two.

Server monitoring and backup procedures

Last but not least, there is the issue of monitoring the dedicated servers and of backing it up. In the event of a problem with your hosting server, like a non-responsive Apache or a network downtime, it is good to have some sort of monitoring platform activated. Here at NTYT PERU S.A.C the system administrators monitor all dedicated servers for ping timeouts, and, if you order a Managed Services upgrade, they monitor the separate services on the dedicated servers too. Backups are also an additional option - the hosting provider offers you data backups on our own backup web servers. You could pick a kind of RAID that would permit you to keep the very same data on two server disk drives as a protective measure in the event of a server hard drive failure, or in case someone whom you have ranted access deletes something by mistake.
